CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has reported that while Inter Milan could be forced to sell Tottenham Hotspur-linked ace Milan Skriniar, his preference is to join PSG.
In December, CMW had claimed that Skriniar remains the ‘dream’ signing of Tottenham boss Antonio Conte.
Considering Skriniar remains one of the most highly-rated defenders in Europe, whose contract expires in the summer and has previous experience working with Conte, he seemed destined to join Tottenham.
Despite the 3-at-the-back setup in place, the Lilywhites have been surprisingly porous in defence this season, which made the potential acquisition of Milan Skriniar a priority.
In 18 games in the 2022/2023 Premier League campaign, Tottenham have conceded 25 goals so far.
Considering Antonio Conte has favoured a pragmatic system at the club, a defensive record that reads as such does not make for the best viewing.
If Skriniar, who understands the Conte way was brought into the side, he could well be tipped to have a transformative impact.
However, the club have been dealt a dose of both good and bad transfer news regarding the £91,000-a-week man.
Inter Milan could be forced to sell Tottenham-linked Skriniar, but he prefers PSG switch

CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has disclosed that while Inter Milan could be forced to let go of Tottenham-linked colossus Milan Skriniar, he would rather put pen to paper for PSG.
“Then you move into the Milan Skriniar territory and maybe the good news for Tottenham, because they like both him and [Alessandro] Bastoni is that Inter [Milan] might have to sell.”
“Even thought PSG were frontrunners all through the summer, they’ve never really managed to get a deal.”
“But I don’t think Tottenham would be able to move for Skriniar unless they qualify for the Champions League because of the price tag.”
“There’s still a likelihood that PSG, which is Skriniar’s preference, not getting anything agreed either in January or either the summer, Skriniar might just end up signing a new deal and that might put him out of the market”, Jacobs told Last Word On Spurs.
Unfortunately for Tottenham and Antonio Conte, a move for Milan Skriniar looks out of reach currently, for the potential price tag and his preference to join PSG.
