Roma lead AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus in the transfer race for Sassuolo star Davide Frattesi. The Italy midfielder is also a target of Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
That is according to Calciomercato, which reports Roma head an ever-growing hunt to sign Frattesi this summer. The 23-year-old continues to impress possible suitors with his efforts at the Mapei Stadium. While Neroverdi chiefs are also now preparing for his eventual sale.
Sassuolo recognise when to sell their prized assets and expect Frattesi will be the jewel of the market in Italy. He has already scored five goals through 21 Serie A appearances so far this season. The four-cap international has also started in each of their top-flight matches.

Frattesi’s performances under Alessio Dionisi this term convinced Roma to position for his transfer in January, as well. The Giallorossi put plans in place to bid for their former youth prospect. But the Stadio Olimpico team could not sell Nicolo Zaniolo before the sales shut.
Now, Roma fear other teams will strike. But Jose Mourinho’s side are still the favourites to sign Frattesi for now. Much will also depend on events with Juventus, who are showing an ever-increasing appreciation for the midfielder. The Bianconeri see him as an ideal target.

Tottenham and West Ham are also in the race for Frattesi’s transfer from Sassuolo
Juventus appreciate Frattesi as the Sassuolo star is still young, homegrown and would not break their budget. But the Turin natives have not yet advanced to hold any talks with the Neroverdi. AC Milan and Inter also appreciate what he could offer at San Siro next season.
While in the Premier League, TuttoMercatoWEB notes Brighton & Hove Albion, Tottenham and West Ham have shown interest in rivalling Napoli for Frattesi’s transfer from Sassuolo. Calciomercato also reported the Neroverdi set an asking price of €35m (£31m) for January.

Sassuolo are under no pressure to sell with the midfielder under contract until June 2026. Managing director Giovanni Carnevali also confirmed he rejected a last-ditch offer from a Premier League outfit. The Neroverdi chief also hopes to see Frattesi continue in Serie A.
“We had an offer a few hours ago from an English club for Frattesi,” Carnevali revealed to TuttoMercatoWEB on deadline day. “However, our policy will always be to raise our kids.
“Clearly, when an opportunity arises we consider it for their sake. For Frattesi, it would be nice if he could go and reinforce an Italian team, as happened with [Manuel] Locatelli.”
