PSV Eindhoven are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham winger Bryan Gil as a replacement for Noni Madueke, who left the club last week to join Chelsea in a £29m deal.
According to the Times, Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side are keen on the Spanish youngster on loan as PSV look to bring in an attacker to replace the England youth international, who Chelsea signed earlier in the window in one of the biggest transfers this January.
With PSV also losing Cody Gakpo to Liverpool at the start of the market, the Dutch giants’ depth out on the wings is looking thin, which is why Gil has now emerged as an option for the Eredivise side, with Tottenham looking to offload the forward.
The 21-year-old has hardly played for Antonio Conte’s side this season with the forward making just ten appearances in all competitions, three of which were starts. Yet the Gil might now have an escape route from north London in the shape of PSV.

Indeed, Gil signing for the UEFA Europa League side would be a good move in the eyes of many given how good PSV have been over the years at developing young players, and with the likes of Xavi Simons and Ibrahim Sangare still on the Dutch club’s books, the Tottenham outcast could be tempted with a move.
Moreover, with PSV still in the Eredivisie title charge and well-positioned to finished in a UEFA Champions League spot, Gil could thrive in Holland under Van Nistelrooy, with the recent arrival of Arnaut Danjuma also something that could push Tottenham to loan out the winger to Holland.
PSV should be doing all they can to sign Gil this January

Gil showed last season out on loan with Valencia that the former Sevilla star has the quality to compete with the very best Europe has to offer, and with PSV one of the continent’s most exciting clubs, the Tottenham outcast could be perfect for the Dutch side this January.
With Van Nistelrooy also in the market for a Madueke replacement, Gil could be ideally suited to come in on loan and plug a crucial area of the squad for PSV, who will no doubt want to sign a quality winger before the closure of the January transfer window.
