Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte would target a transfer for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg if he returns to Juventus. The Italian believes the Spurs midfielder can replace Adrien Rabiot.
That is according to CalcioMercatoWeb, which reports Conte is likely to return to Turin this summer to replace Massimiliano Allegri. The Bianconeri believe the Tottenham manager is the one to restore the Serie A side’s fortunes. They trail leaders Napoli by 10 points so far.
Juventus consider it to be a matter of fact that Conte will deliver improved results on their record this term. They also accept that the 53-year-old would need a strong squad and are ready to back his plans. One of Conte’s first quests would be to replace Rabiot in midfield.

Rabiot is out of contract at the Allianz Stadium this June and currently has no plans to sign new terms. The France star, who thrived at the World Cup, prefers to leave Turin as a free agent after four years. His departure will leave a huge gap in the Bianconeri’s engine room.
But Conte would look to fill the Rabiot-shaped void by targeting the transfer to Juventus of Tottenham star Hojbjerg. Although Spurs would set their price tag for the Denmark anchor at €40-45m (£35-£39m). Daniel Levy would accept nothing less to offload the 27-year-old.

Conte will try to convince Hojbjerg of a transfer to Juventus from Tottenham
Conte would try his best to convince Hojbjerg to follow him to Juventus in a transfer from Tottenham. He has started the 63-cap midfielder in 18 of Spurs’ 19 Premier League games so far this season. The Copenhagen-born star has also scored four and assisted two goals.
Tottenham might soon have to start considering the £100k-a-week ace’s future, too. He is only under contract until June 2025 on the deal penned upon leaving Southampton for an initial £15m. Hojbjerg, who could cost Spurs up to £20m, joined the team in August 2020.
Hojbjerg has gone on to play 126 games for Tottenham since joining from the Saints under Jose Mourinho. He has mostly shone from a defensive perspective but has also offered 10 goals and 13 assists in all competitions. Jamie O’Hara has also dubbed him as a ‘machine’.
