Antonio Conte reportedly already has a vision in mind to sign Dejan Kulusevski for AC Milan should the Tottenham manager join the Serie A giants in the summer, with the Spurs boss the favourite to take over at the Rossoneri.

According to CalcioMercatoWeb, the Italian manager is Milan’s ideal candidate to replace Stefano Piloi should the San Siro manager leave his position later this year, with Conte already having a plan to sign Kulusevski if Tottenham chooses to not trigger the winger’s purchase option.

The Swedish international joined Tottenham last January on an 18-month loan deal with an option to buy, with Kulusevski impressing massively for the north London side since signing from Juventus. However, there’s now uncertainty over if the attacker will stay in England if Conte was to leave.

As a result, the Italian manager could now sign Kulusevski for Milan if Conte is to join the reigning Scudetto holders in the summer, with Juventus likely to be keen on a sale given their financial situation and need for external revenue to help quell their ongoing crisis.

Indeed, Conte leaving for Milan already feels like a stretch given how recently the 53-year-old left Inter, and to bring Kulusevski also seems unlikely based on how much the Rossoneri will have to pay to bring the attacker to the San Siro, with Tottenham likely to make a better offer anyway.

With Kulusevski also settled in England and seemingly keen on remaining a Premier League player, the Swedish superstar will likely want to sign for Tottenham even if Conte packs his bags and returns to Italy, with Spurs already having the option to sign the Juventus talent.

Kulusevski has been one of Tottenham’s key players in the Conte era at the club, with the 22-year-old being nothing short of a revelation for Spurs and an ideal player for the Italian’s attacking style of play, which is why the north London side would be crazy to allow the youngster to sign for Milan in the summer.

Even if Conte swaps London for Milan for the second time in his career, Tottenham have the finances and the pull to keep Kulusevski at the club on a permanent basis, with the Rossoneri likely unable to match whatever Spurs have in mind for the Juventus attacker at the end of this season.
