Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur think that they can beat Graham Potter’s Chelsea to the signing of Jordan Pickford from Premier League rivals Everton, according to The Mirror.
The report has claimed that Tottenham want to sign England international goalkeeper Pickford from Everton.
Former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea have also registered interest in the £110,000-a-week (SalarySport) goalkeeper.
Tottenham reportedly believe that they can tempt Pickford into a move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium amid a contract standout between the Toffees and the 28-year-old, described as “incredible” and “fantastic” by Spurs and England international central defender Eric Dier in The London Evening Standard in July 2018.
Tottenham Hotspur or Chelsea for Jordan Pickford?
In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur would have to work extremely hard if they are to sign Jordan Pickford ahead of Chelsea.

Yes, Chelsea are not having the best of times at the moment, but the Blues regularly challenge for the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
Playing regularly for a Chelsea team aiming to win the UEFA Champions League could be far too tempting for Pickford than just trying to qualify for it with Tottenham.
However, you just never know.
Tottenham are a massive club, and if under head coach Antonio Conte, they qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League and Chelsea do not, then Pickford could be swayed to a move to Spurs.
