A report has stated that Tottenham Hotspur are now exploring a transfer for Chelsea wonderkid Levi Colwill.
As recently as on Friday, it was claimed that Liverpool had their sights set on the Blues loanee, dubbed as the ‘next John Terry.’
It seems as if Tottenham Hotspur have also taken a liking to Levi Colwill and would like to complete a transfer for him next season.
Tottenham interested in Levi Colwill transfer
However, the Reds are not the only other elite club interested in the English defender, with Manchester City also reportedly plotting to sign him as a replacement for the exit-linked Aymeric Laporte, as per Manchester City News.
The youngster is having an incredible loan stint at Brighton, emerging as arguably the side’s standout centre-half this campaign.
The Sun have now reported that Levi Colwill is being ‘monitored’ by Tottenham as a potential transfer incoming ahead of the following campaign.

Additionally, it has been reinforced that Spurs are not the only Premier League club keen on the highly-rated starlet’s signature, as he has his fair share of admirers.
To add to that, Chelsea have no intention of selling one of their most prized assets.
HITC View: Unlikely that Tottenham will be able to sign him
While Tottenham could perhaps have an edge over Liverpool in a transfer tug-of-war to sign Levi Colwill, they will undoubtedly taste defeat if Manchester City ramp up their interest.
And in the Reds’ case as well, at least they have the benefit of recent history, having won every possible trophy under Jurgen Klopp’s tenure.
Another factor that goes against Spurs’ willingness to sign the Englishman is Chelsea’s lack of desire to let him go.
While Frank Lampard’s men may be forced into sales as their Champions League hopes are all but dashed, they may look to keep him at the club, considering his incredibly high ceiling.
