Here is the latest transfer news from North London with Tottenham Hotspur hoping to do some key business this summer.

Albert Gudmusson

Starting off with a rather left-field signing but Icelandic attacking midfielder Albert Gudmunsson has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

A new midfielder looks to be high on the list for Spurs this summer with HITC reporting that Spurs are keen on Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.

However, Gumdunsson has been linked, with the North London club reportedly contacting Serie A side Genoa about a potential move, according to Monday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Hiroki Ito

Spurs have scouted Japanese centre-back Hiroki Ito, according to a report from Football.London.

A versatile defensive addition is said to be one of Tottenham’s priorities and a move for the VfB Stuttgart defender does make sense with Ito more than capable of playing across the defensive line.

However, the report states that Spurs will only move for a defensive addition if the club’s other priorities further up the pitch are taken care of.

The midfield and attack are said to be Tottenham’s bigger priorities this summer and these will be prioritised over a defensive addition.

Dominic Solanke

A striker signing could be one of Spurs’ most important additions this summer and Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke has been linked.

However, a report from GiveMeSport has poured cold water over this as they report that the North London club will not be making a move to sign the former Liverpool forward.

Despite performing so well for Bournemouth, with 19 league goals to his name, due to his release clause at the South coast side, it is unlikely that Spurs will make a move.

The release clause, which is reportedly set at £65 million, has turned the Lilywhites off the idea of the Englishman this summer.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

There could well be a reunion in Turkey for Danish midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, if reports from Turkey are to be believed.

According to outlet Yeni Malatya, Fenerbache manager Jose Mourinho has instructed the decision makers at the Turkish giants to sign Hojbjerg.

During Mourinho’s time in North London, Hojbjerg was brought to the club and proved to be a key figure for the Portuguese manager.

With Spurs interested in a midfield addition this summer, Hojbjerg could be on his way out and would, according to the report, be interested in a reunion with Mourinho this summer.
