Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti wants to sign Richarlison from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to a report in the Spanish media.
Defensa Central have reported that Carlo Ancelotti has told his Real Madrid bosses to sign Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison in the summer of 2023.
Ancelotti worked with the £175,000-a-week (SalarySport) Brazil international forward at Everton.
The Italian manager wants a striker who can compete with Karim Benzema and is also able to play out wide.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison decision could depend on Real Madrid transfer fee
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur could sell Richarlison in the summer transfer window, but they would want Real Madrid to pay a hefty fee.
Spurs paid Everton an initial £50 million with a further £10m in add-ons for the Brazil international last summer (Sky Sports).
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will surely want at least that amount for the 26-year-old.

Madrid are arguably the biggest club in the world who regularly win La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
The chance to move to the Santiago Bernabeu could be too tempting for Richarlison, who has had a poor season at Spurs.
The 26-year-old has made 12 starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs this season.
The Tottenham no. 9 has scored one goal and given three assists in those games.
Richarlison also made four starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Tottenham this campaign, scoring two goals in the process.
