According to 90min, Arnaut Danjuma is set to undergo a medical at Frank Lampard’s Everton, which means that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Unai Emery’s Aston Villa are among the clubs who have missed out on the signing of the Villarreal winger.

Tottenham and Aston Villa miss out on Arnaut Danjuma to Everton

90min have reported that Danjuma has agreed to join Everton on loan from Villarreal in the January transfer window for the rest of the season.

Aston Villa, Southampton, Nottingham Forest and Leicester City all showed interest the winger, and so did his former club Bournemouth and PSV.

However, the Netherlands international forward – described as “absolutely exceptional” by former Liverpool striker Michael Owen on BT Sport in 2021 – has decided to move to Everton.

It will be a loan deal with an option to make it permanent.

Tottenham have also been linked with Danjuma as well.

The Daily Mail reported last week that Tottenham are interested in the Netherlands international winger.
