Stevie Nicol thinks Harry Kane possibly leaving Tottenham Hotspur for Real Madrid won’t happen, but he does think he is ‘perfect’ for Bayern Munich.
New Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has recently come out and said that his star striker is ‘fully committed’ to the cause at Spurs ahead of the new Premier League season, as he told Sky Sports.
But those rumours involving Bayern Munich just won’t go away, with Anfield legend Nicol claiming that Thomas Tuchel’s side are ‘screaming’ for a player of Harry Kane’s quality, as he told ESPN.
There’s one thing the 29-year-old being open to making that switch to the German giants, but it’s another matter of trying to get Daniel Levy to accept an offer.
As he previously proved with Manchester City, the Spurs chairman does things his way and his way only.
Unless someone from Spurs publicly comes out to squash the rumours, this saga will only rumble on, but Nicol has already ruled out one club signing the England captain.

“I think Bayern Munich is absolutely perfect,” said Nicol. “They are screaming out for a centre-forward. He’s a proper centre-forward. The old thing about not selling to one of your rivals is completely squashed. To me, it’s absolutely ideal.
“The other one would have been Real Madrid. I don’t see that is going to happen. But I think Bayern is perfect for him.”

Pressure off Postecoglou if Kane leaves
After missing out on European football last season, the aim for Postecoglou is to get Spurs back into European football for the next campaign.
But if he loses Kane, then that pressure will be lifted off the Treble-winning former Celtic boss.
Will the aim still be Europe? Well, it wouldn’t be a surprise if it’s still the aim, but it’s accepted if those expectations aren’t met because life without Kane for Spurs is going to be one very hard pill to swallow.
