Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Bryan Gil is about to leave Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur for Sevilla in the January transfer window.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Sevilla are closing in on a deal to sign Gil on loan from Tottenham for the rest of the season.
There will be no option for the La Liga club to make the deal permanent.
Romano has added that a medical has been booked for the £83,000-a-week (SalarySport) 21-year-old Spain international winger.
Bryan Gil about to leave Tottenham for Sevilla on loan

Sensible decision?
In our view, if Bryan Gil was not going to get much playing time at Tottenham Hotspur between now and the end of the season, then it makes sense for the winger to go back to Spain and play for Sevilla on a loan deal.
There is no point in the talented and promising Gil to waste his time on the bench at Tottenham.
Gil has made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season.
The winger has given one assist in those matches.
The 21-year-old has played 31 minutes in the Carabao Cup and 36 minutes in the UEFA Champions League for Spurs so far this campaign.
