Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United target Arnaut Danjuma will travel to England for talks over his transfer from Villarreal on Wednesday. Aston Villa and Everton are also keen.
That is according to Sky Sports, which reports Villarreal have given Danjuma permission to negotiate a potential move. Head coach Quique Setien will also not include the Dutchman in his squad to host Real Madrid in the Round of 16 of the Copa del Rey on Thursday night.
Villarreal are prepared to permit a loan move for Danjuma to return to the Premier League after a previous spell with AFC Bournemouth. El Submari Groguet signed the 25-year-old in August 2021 from the Cherries for £21.5m. He also signed a five-year deal upon his arrival.

Now, though, Sky Sports notes Bournemouth, Everton and Nottingham Forest are chasing a mid-season move for the six-cap dynamo. But Villarreal’s willingness to let Danjuma fly to England for talks with Premier League clubs on Wednesday has attracted other suitors.
Danjuma will decide his future in the coming days having only started 10 of his 17 games in all competitions so far this season. Even though the Lagos, Nigeria-born ace – who can play off the wings or through the centre – has scored six goals. He hit 16 in 34 fixtures last term.

Danjuma’s transfer from Villarreal also interests Tottenham and West Ham
The Daily Mail has also credited Tottenham and West Ham with an interest in Danjuma’s transfer from Villareal. It also cites Bournemouth and Everton as potential suitors for the forward. While The Sun notes El Submari Groguet would want £35m for to sell this month.
Interest from Aston Villa, per Dean Jones, further strengthens Villarreal’s valuation as Unai Emery immediately marked the 25-year-old as a target after replacing Steven Gerrard. The Spaniard got a first-hand look at Danjuma having taken him to La Liga from Bournemouth.

Emery stood at the Villarreal helm from July 2020 to October 2022 and fielded Danjuma in 43 games. The former Arsenal boss also saw the Dutchman net 19 and create four goals in all competitions. His haul included six goals in 11 Champions League games to earn praise.
“He’s quick, explosive, technically really good [and] can beat a player one-v-one,” Owen Hargreaves told BT Sport last April after Danjuma scored against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. “And his finishing has really improved.”
