Inter Milan reportedly believe as many as 11 players could leave the club this summer, with rumoured Tottenham target Marcelo Brozovic one of the leading names who might depart.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are keen to recoup some much-needed funds in the transfer window to help evolve the squad into something that could challenge for the Serie A title next season, and Brozovic could now leave Inter amid growing interest from the Premier League.

Inter Live recently claimed that Tottenham have been tracking Brozovic for some time and are willing to chase the Croatian international throughout the summer, though with Inter’s CEO Beppe Marotta placing a £35m asking price on the midfielder, Daniel Levy could struggle to land his man.

Moreover, Tottenham’s stance on Brozovic could change entirely with Antonio Conte set to leave the club, with the Italian manager seemingly the leading man inside Spurs looking to bring his former title-winning superstar to north London to help bolster their midfield ranks.

The pair helped Inter to the Serie A title in 2021. However, Conte leaving Tottenham could also see Spurs completely change their transfer policy and targets depending on who comes in to replace the 53-year-old manager, and this could mean ditching an attempt to sign Brozovic.

Indeed, even with Conte leaving Tottenham, the 30-year-old could be an exceptional signing for Spurs, especially with Brozovic now being tipped to leave the San Siro in the summer, a decision that could lead to Levy landing on a potential bargain in the window.

Brozovic might seem like a peak Conte signing, yet scratch below the surface and you will find that the midfielder could be an ideal addition for Tottenham, especially when you consider the complaints many fans and pundits have had on Spurs’ current options in the position.

And with Brozovic now tipped to leave Inter in a mass squad exodus, Tottenham must be quick in their attempts to sign the Croatian international, with interest from other clubs likely to sprout in the coming days amid this latest update from Italy.
