A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur…

England's Kyle Walker in action

According to a report from the Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kyle Walker is hoping to be a Manchester City player before the Blues jet off for their pre-season tour of the USA.

That will come as a bitter blow to those Spurs fans hoping the England international remains in North London beyond the summer, although for the kind of money being mentioned Tottenham could get the better end of the deal if they reinvest wisely.

Tottenham are preparing for their own trip Stateside and it would be quite a story if Walker turns out for City against Spurs rather than for them.

Plenty has to be done before then, not least agreeing on a fee, with Tottenham said to be holding out for £50million.

In other news, the Mirror claims Tottenham are interested in defender Juan Foyth.

The Argentine is currently on the books at Estudiantes and Spurs would need to trigger his £5million release clause to seal a deal this summer.

The 19-year-old is predominantly a centre-back although he can also operate as a holding midfielder is required.

He has only featured four times for his parent club to date but Tottenham have allegedly sent scouts to see him in action for his country.

And finally, the Daily Mail claims Tottenham will have to pay £18million to bring Matthias Ginter to North London this summer.

The report claims Tottenham have enquired about the prospect of signing the Borussia Dortmund defender and that he could be allowed to leave despite having two years remaining on his current contract.

At just 23, the versatile Ginter would be a savvy signing if Tottenham do ultimately agree a deal with the Bundesliga club.
