Tottenham Hotspur are among the most likely destinations for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as AC Milan refuse to meet Rubin Kazan’s asking price for the Georgia winger, per Calciomercato.
It is only a matter of time before Kvaratskhelia leaves his Premier Liga outfit to embark on a new challenge. He even confessed to his father in May that it was his 100% desire to change jersey for next season.
But AC Milan chiefs are putting barriers in the way of Kvaratskhelia’s path to the San Siro, in a huge boost to Tottenham’s pursuit. Spurs, plus Bundesliga duo Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Monchengladbach, are now the most likely destinations for the 20-year-old.

Milan Technical Director Paolo Maldini and Sporting Director Frederic Massara appreciate what Kvaratskhelia could offer in the Serie A. But the Rossoneri chiefs have not marked him as a priority as they believe Rubin Kazan’s valuation is too exaggerated.
The Russian side want around €18-20m (£15.5-£17m) for the winger, while Milan would also face issues with league regulations. AC can only register one additional non-EU resident after signing Fikayo Tomori, and are in talks with Santos over a deal for teenager Kaio Jorge.
So, Milan are far from striking a deal for Kvaratskhelia and are yet to make Rubin Kazan an offer. Boosting Tottenham’s pursuit, with further reports in Italy citing Spurs’ interest in the left-sided star. Should Managing Director Fabio Paratici be willing to pay what AC are not.
Kvaratskhelia an interesting option for Tottenham with Milan distanced from deal
Kvaratskhelia would be an interesting option for Tottenham with Milan distanced from deal with Rubin Kazan. He has two seasons of first-team football to his name at AK Bars Arena and shown versatility. As well as thriving on the left, he’s featured centrally and on the right.
Kvaratskhelia failed to open his account for the new campaign as Rubin Kazan beat Spartak Moscow 1-0 last Saturday. He played 83 minutes of the curtain-raising encounter at Ak Bars Arena, after recovering from a hip flexor injury that ended his season in April last term.
The eight-cap Georgia winger had enjoyed a strong Premier Liga season up until his injury. Kvaratskhelia offered Rubin Kazan four goals and eight assists over 23 appearances, for career best returns in both accounts. He set his previous bests at three and five in 2019/20.
