Rio Ferdinand has raved about Tottenham Hotspur’s training ground on his YouTube channel.

The former Manchester United defender was at Tottenham’s training facility last week to interview Spurs midfielder Dele Alli for BT Sports.

The BT Sports pundit was blown away by Tottenham’s Hotspur Way and has described it as “unreal” and “ridiculous”.

Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel: “I went to their training ground the other day. I did an interview with Dele Alli for BT.

“I interviewed him in the hotel on the site. It was like being at Soho Farmhouse. Unreal. It was ridiculous. The training ground is amazing in itself.”

One of the world’s best

Tottenham may not have done particularly well on the pitch over the past two or so seasons, but the North London club have one of the best stadiums and one of the best training facilities in the world.

There are as many as 15 grass pitches across the site including four dedicated solely for first-team training at Hotspur Way.

The Spurs training facility is also very environment-friendly.

As stated on Tottenham’s official website, ’an attenuation pond has established a wetland and intermittent wetland habitat with natural plant and wildlife’.

Moreover, over 10% of energy is produced on site through some form of renewable source.

Tottenham fans will hope that the team do well on the pitch and get success.

Spurs are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
