Tottenham Hotspur’s squad has been decimated in recent days, meaning youngster Tobi Omole, Kallum Cesay and Nile John were all in first-team training today.
Tottenham have endured a COVID-19 outbreak at their training ground and a number of players are now in isolation.
The identities of those players have not been revealed, and Antonio Conte is left in crisis mode.
As things stand, UEFA are insisting that Thursday’s Europa Conference League tie with Rennes goes ahead.
If that is the case, Conte may have to name some youngsters in his team – and that was displayed in Tottenham’s workout today.
Tottenham youngsters Omole, Cesay and John in Conte’s training
Conte led training today, and there were some young faces in the group.
Defender Tobi Omole was one of them. Omole has yet to make his first-team debut for Tottenham since joining from Arsenal in 2020.

A centre back or left back, Omole has two goals in 12 Premier League 2 games this season.
Fellow defender Kallum Ceesay was also involved. The right back has played 13 times in Premier League 2 this season, but hasn’t played for Tottenham’s first team.
Midfielder John has played twice for Tottenham’s first team and has been in blistering form this term. John has bagged seven goals and three assists in 13 Premier League 2 outings.
All three were in Conte’s session today, and could feature for Tottenham tomorrow given their illness woes.
