Mauricio Pochettino’s charges will be hoping to bring three points back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium from Anfield this weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld has sent a positive Twitter message to the Spurs fanbase ahead of the big Premier League fixture coming up for them this weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino’s charges have endured a tough start to the 2019-20 season but things have been looking up a bit more this week as they claimed a solid 5-0 win over Crvena zvezda in their midweek Champions League clash.

Prior to that, Tottenham stopped their losing run as Dele Alli claimed a late goal against Watford to secure a point in a 1-1 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week, and with a huge test in the form of Liverpool away coming up, Spurs have been putting in plenty of work on the training ground.

Alderweireld commented on the “positive vibes” in today’s training sessions and acknowledged the enormity of their upcoming clash at Anfield:
