The Tottenham Hotspur teenager has got the chance to train with the Three Lions.
As confirmed by England’s official Twitter account, Tottenham Hotspur teenager Dylan Duncan will today train with the Three Lions due to a number of injury absences.
Some Spurs fans may be caught slightly surprised by this one, with Marcus Edwards the teenager expected to break through into the senior side sooner rather than later, but it is fellow 17-year-old Duncan who will get the chance to run out with the current England squad this week.
Duncan is a central midfielder who made his debut for Tottenham’s under-23 side against Norwich City earlier this season, while he also appeared in the UEFA Youth League clash against Bayer Leverkusen earlier this month and is making good progress at the club.
With a number of other Tottenham youngsters off on international duty at various age levels, Duncan has been given the chance by Gareth Southgate and it will be interesting to hear how he does against far more experienced players.

Duncan played regularly for Tottenham’s under-18s last season and now he will be hoping to use this chance to get more chances at under-23 level, before eventually making the breakthrough at White Hart Lane.
