Tottenham have been linked with a move for Ismaila Sarr.

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on a move for Senegal winger Ismaila Sarr, according to Calciomercato.

Sarr, 20, is an exciting player with pace to burn and he has been compared to countryman Sadio Mane.

As well as livening up Tottenham’s attack, Rennes attacker Sarr could leave opposition players and fans rattled.

This is due to the way he has been accused of going to ground too easily, which has even seen a rival manager hit out.

Troyes boss Jean-Louis Garcia told ESPN: “Everything fell apart on Sarr’s cheating.

“I looked at the images 10 times, it’s an imaginary penalty. It’s simulation from Ismaila Sarr. It’s pure simulation, and the referee has let himself be fooled.”

Tottenham had incidents last year where Dele Ali and Harry Kane were both accused of going to ground too easily to win penalties.

Sarr is a fast dribbler and is a headache for defenders to deal with, but if he signs with a Premier League club then the negative side of his game will come under the microscope.

If he can’t cut it out, he will fast become the league’s most controversial player.
