Real Madrid legend Raul has convinced Miguel Gutierrez to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu amid interest from Juventus, Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur, according to Goal Espana.

While Victor Chust, Hugo Duro, Marvin Park and Sergio Arribas have all been handed their La Liga debuts by Zinedine Zidane this season, a 19-year-old left-back is still awaiting his opportunity.

But fear not. Gutierrez will get his chance sooner rather than later.

Goal claims the teenager may be promoted to Real Madrid’s first-team squad this summer if the veteran Marcelo brings an end to his 14-year spell in the Spanish capital.

For what it’s worth, Gutierrez has never made any real attempt to force a move away from the 13-time European champions.

Legendary striker Raul, now coach of Real’s Castilla team, has convinced the Spain U19 international to stay put and wait for his chance.

Bayern Munich and Juventus have both shown an interest while, according to Defensa Central, Tottenham Hotspur are at the front of the queue for a player former Blancos boss Jose Mourinho tried to sign for Manchester United in 2017.

Gutierrez has a £35 million release clause in his contract.

It seems unlikely Bayern, Juve or Spurs would be willing to pay such a staggering sum for a player without a single first-team appearance on his CV.
