Potential target Victor Camarasa has had an impressive season and is now reportedly attracting interest from Spurs, claim Marca.
Camarasa is at Premier League strugglers Cardiff City, on loan from Real Betis.
This season he has five goals and three assists for Cardiff, in 26 games.
Alli has five goals and two assists in 18 games.
The Spurs man is contributing at a higher rate, but he is surrounded by far better players, as the two club’s league positions show.
Whoscored.com note that Alli creates an average of 0.9 chances per game, with Camarasa averaging 1.6.
The 24-year-old Spaniard is not the big name Tottenham fans may crave, but he could be a very effective signing.
He is a good age, is gaining Premier League experience, and is the type of player Mauricio Pochettino can improve and take to the next level.
If the price is right, Camarasa could be a very shrewd acquisition by Spurs.
