According to RMC Sport, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Anthony Martial in the summer transfer window, but the Manchester United striker reportedly wants a move elsewhere.

Earlier this month, RMC Sport claimed of Tottenham’s interest in the France international striker, and The Times has now reported that the 22-year-old is interested in a move to Italian saints Juventus.

It has also been reported by The Times that the Italian giants have made the youngster their top transfer target in the summer, and that Martial is “intrigued by the possibility of moving to Juventus”.

“It is understood that Martial was disappointed at not having the chance to discuss a move to Arsenal in January, when the London club raised the possibility of including the forward in the swap deal that led to Henrikh Mkhitaryan leaving Old Trafford instead,” adds the report in The Times.

Tottenham Hotspur or Juventus?

Juventus are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and Martial would thrive at the Turin giants if he plays regularly.

The problem with moving to Tottenham is that the United striker would have to play second fiddle to Harry Kane and could struggle for playing time.

True, it would not be easy for Martial to establish himself in the Juve starting lineup unless there are changes at the club in the summer transfer window, but he would stand a chance of playing in a front-two, while at Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino generally plays with a lone striker.
