Tottenham Hotspur have been keeping tabs on the Manchester United ace all summer, according to reports.

According to a report from the Mirror, Anthony Martial is in advanced talks with Juventus regarding a summer switch to Turin, meaning that Tottenham will need to act fast if they want to bring the Manchester united ace to north London this summer.
The Mirror claim that Spurs have been keeping tabs on the Frenchman all summer long, and they could get their man if they stump up the £75 million that United are demanding for the forward.

Martial joined United from Monaco in the summer of 2015, for a fee that could eventually surpass the £60 million mark, according to Sky Sports, but he has struggled to perform at a consistent level for the Red Devils.
The France international has chalked up 36 goals and 26 assists in 136 appearances for United – a rather poor tally for someone with his ability.

It could be argued that he hasn’t really been given ample opportunity to prove himself at Old Trafford, though, and a move to Tottenham could be just what he needs to reinvigorate his career.
Since Jose Mourinho’s appointment as manager back in the summer of 2016, Martial seems to have regressed, and working under someone like Mauricio Pochettino might just be what he needs, rather than the Portuguese’s tough love.

Spurs will obviously have their work cut-out if they want to bring the United ace to north London, what with Juventus reportedly being in advanced talks to sign the forward.
They could steal a march on the Italians, however, by offering Toby Alderweireld plus cash to the Red Devils in return for Martial.
The Tottenham defender’s future at the club is uncertain to say the least, and with Davinson Sanchez’s rise to prominence, it could be argued that Pochettino’s side will be able to cope without the Belgian.
And having someone with Martial’s talent operating in the final third could very well take the Lilywhites to an entirely new level.
