Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp has admitted to watching clips of Jordan Henderson in an effort to develop his own game.
Skipp has been picked out as one of Tottenham’s top young players in recent times, with many backing him for prolonged first-team success.
This season, Spurs have sent Skipp out on loan to Norwich City, and he has been turning in exceptional performances under Daniel Farke.
Spurs will soon face a decision on whether to add Skipp back into their squad next season or allow him to stay at Norwich for another year.
Tomorrow, Skipp will be in action for England’s Under-21’s against Switzerland, and he has been speaking to the press ahead of the game.
Skipp has told The London Evening Standard that he has been watching clips of Liverpool star Jordan Henderson an in effort to add something to his game.

Skipp hailed Henderson for the way he is vocal and demanding of his teammates, noting that he drives Liverpool forward as an inspirational leader.
“You see, on the pitch, the vocal demanding, positive attitude,” said Skipp. “I was watching it, because sometimes Liverpool release a clip of where you can actually hear the players and you just listen to Henderson throughout the game driving that team on and I just found that fascinating, just watching him, and definitely something with the experience that you gain I can add to my game for sure,” he added.
If Skipp can become Tottenham’s very own Henderson, Jose Mourinho – or whoever is Spurs manager down the line – would surely be delighted.
