Tottenham Hotspur youngster Maxi Tainio is getting his career started.

Just 10 years after Teemu Tainio last played for Tottenham Hotspur, his son is busy making his name for himself in football.
Tainio left Spurs in 2008 after featuring under Juande Ramos, having played more than 60 games for the club.

Tainio is making good progress, and last night played his first game for Finland’s under-18 side.
He recently turned 17 and like his dad, Tainio is a central midfielder.
This season he made one appearance for Tottenham’s under-23s, mostly featuring for the under-18s.
It is too early to say whether he will make it at Spurs, but so far he is ticking all the boxes, and playing international youth football will only help his development.
