Tottenham Hotspur claimed another win on Sunday evening, beating North London rivals Arsenal 2-0 at home.

Jose Mourinho’s men turned in a superb defensive display, and hit Arsenal on the counter with two devastating breaks.

Harry Kane set up to Son Heung-min to fire home a superb long-range striker, before Son returned the favour by setting up Kane for number two.

Spurs saw out the game brilliantly as goal-shy Arsenal again failed to score, and the result to Tottenham back to the top of the Premier League table.

They lead Liverpool on goal difference and have lost just once this season, which came all the way back on the opening day of the season.

Some are starting to dream of Tottenham winning silverware this season, and youngster Jack Roles is no different.

The midfielder noted on Twitter that this season is a year ending in the number one, showing that he is dreaming of a trophy.

Spurs often win trophies in years ending in one; the 1901, 1921, 1961, 1981 and 1991 FA Cups, the 1951 and 1961 First Division and 1971 League Cup.

Nothing has been won in the 21st century to fit the pattern, but Roles clearly feels that it could be possible this time around – and fans loved the youngster’s ambitious message.
