Tottenham youngster Jack Roles scored a hat-trick for under-23s.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jack Roles scored an important hat-trick for the club’s under-23 team on Monday night.
The goals gave Tottenham a 3-1 win over Derby County and meant Spurs avoided relegation.
Even though Roles is out of contract at the end of the season, he said that retaining the club’s league status was a driving force for him in the win.
Roles told Tottenham’s official website that he, and his teammates, did not want a relegation on his record.

He said: “Everyone knew it was vitally important to stay up. It would be terrible for us all if we went down and none of us wanted to have that on our CV so we’re really happy in the end.
“We all know that the standards weren’t met at times this season and we’re determined to be in a better position going forward.”
Roles, 20, is one of the Tottenham players who can hold his head high. He has 15 goals in all competitions at youth level this season.
Rivals West Ham were relegated as a result of the Tottenham victory.
It’s unclear if Tottenham have plans to offer Roles a new deal, but he hasn’t done his chances any harm with his performance on Monday night.
