Clinton Morrison has said on Sky Sports News (2:12pm, May 1, 2021) that Tottenham Hotspur should appoint Eddie Howe as their new manager.
Tottenham are on the hunt for a new permanent manager following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho last month.
Mourinho was sacked just days before the Carabao Cup final against Premier League rivals Manchester City.
Ryan Mason has been placed in charge of Spurs until the end of the season, and it is unlikely that the Englishman will be given the job on a full-time basis by club chairman Daniel Levy.
Former Crystal Palace forward Morrison, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, has said that he would appoint ex-Bournemouth manager Howe at Tottenham.
Morrison said on Sky Sports News (2:12pm, May 1, 2021): “I am a Tottenham fan. I would, me personally now, I would take, if you can’t get the likes of Brendan Rodgers, you are not going to get them, I would take Eddie Howe. He is available.”

Eddie Howe to Tottenham Hotspur?
Howe is without a managerial job at the moment, having left Bournemouth last summer.
The Cherries got relegated from the Premier League under the 43-year-old, but they were brilliant when they were in the top flight of English football.
Bournemouth played good attacking football under the Englishman, who comes across as a smart, considerable and thoughtful manager in his interviews.
Howe is very young, and his profile could appeal to Spurs chairman Levy, especially as the Englishman may not want to spend loads and loads of money on new players.
Tottenham could do with someone like Howe who could be a massive success in the long run.
