Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have offered their views on Gary Neville after Liverpool were beaten in a crucial game for the Premier League title.

Tottenham supporters on Twitter were fuming at Gary Neville after he claimed Mauricio Pochettino’s side will not be able to match Manchester City or Liverpool in the title race.
Jurgen Klopp’s side, who are the current Premier League leaders, suffered their first defeat of the campaign when City recorded an absorbing 2-1 win against their title rivals on Thursday night.
The defeat for Liverpool means they now hold a four-point lead over the Manchester club, whilst third-placed Tottenham are two points behind City and six points behind the leaders in the table.
After the encounter at the Etihad Stadium, TV pundit Neville told Sky Sports that Spurs don’t have the ‘depth’ or ‘quality’ to match the current top two in the title race.
The comments by the former Manchester United defender didn’t sit too well with the White Hart Lane faithful, who made their opinions known on social media.
One Spurs supporters on Twitter stated that Pochettino should ‘pin-up every word’ Neville said on Sky to the changing room walls.

Whilst another Tottenham fan claimed that the eight-time Premier League winner ‘knows nothing about football’ as he pointed towards his infamous managerial stint at La Liga side Valencia.
Here is a selection of Tottenham fans on Twitter responding to Neville’s comments about their title chances:
