The 23-year-old has come in for criticism once again this season.
Harry Kane
Tottenham star Harry Kane has reminded his critics of what he went on to achieve last season after it was suggested that he was looking tired at the beginning of the campaign following the same criticism being levelled at him once again this time around, the Daily Mirror reports.
The Mirror suggests that the 23-year-old’s form has come under fire – Kane has scored just once in six games for club and country – with some suggesting that he needs to take a rest.

But Kane has simply reminded those who are writing him off that they were making a similar suggestion this time last year before outlining just how wrong they proved to be.
“People said that this time last year and I went on to win the Golden Boot and score 30-odd goals for club and country,” he told the Mirror.

“People are going to talk – people will talk. It doesn’t bother me. I’m fit, I’m ready to go.
“I’ll be ready on Sunday, if called upon by the gaffer, and hopefully I can get on the scoresheet and win the game.”
Kane’s only goal of the season so far came against Stoke
While Kane had scored twice by this stage last season, both of those strikes had come for the Three Lions rather than Spurs – with one coming against international minnows San Marino – and it was only during his ninth appearance for his club that he opened his account for the campaign.
This time around, he has made just five appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, including one in the Champions League, so he still has every chance of replicating the season he enjoyed last term, if not bettering it.
