Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has been linked with a surprise move to Everton.
Rose worked under Allardyce for England during the manager’s brief stint in charge of the Three Lions, and admitted he really enjoyed it.

After Allardyce was unceremoniously fired, Rose reached out to the manager by text.
He added: “He was brilliant when he was there. He was such a good laugh, really approachable and he allowed us to play as well.”
Rose confessed in the summer he was keen on a move back North, and Everton would fit the bill, if he cannot secure a move to one of the Manchester clubs.
Rose would cost Everton a lot of money, but the Toffees have the funds, and Rose’s admission on enjoying playing under Allardyce so much could be just what he needs, and convince him to make the switch.
