Tottenham Hotspur dropped points for the second Premier League game in a row on Saturday.
Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris applauds fans
Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris described his disappointment with his side’s draw against Bournemouth on Saturday, and urged Tottenham’s forwards to be more aggressive, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men remain the only unbeaten side in the Premier League, and currently sit fourth in the table, so it is hard to be too critical of the North Londoners.
The France international stopper, however, expected more from his side, and discussed how they need more in the last third, as quoted by the Evening Standard:
Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris makes a save
“I always say when you cannot win, you must not lose, but it’s three draws in a row now and we needed to score. Perhaps we need to be more aggressive in the last 30 yards, in our runs, in our passes. Look, it’s football and there are ups and downs.”
Pochettino’s men have been water-tight at the back so far this term, conceding just four goals in nine league outings, but it has been a different story at the other end of the pitch.

Their 13 goals scored thus far is evidence of their impotent displays in front of goal, and the Spurs fans will be desperate for Harry Kane to return to action as soon as possible, what with Vincent Janssen failing to fill the England international’s boots.
Next up for Spurs is a trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool Tuesday in the EFL Cup before they resume their Premier League duties on Saturday at home to Leicester City.
