Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld comments on star’s Chelsea departure.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld feels Eden Hazard leaving Chelsea is a blow for the Premier League.
The pair are international teammates for Belgium and Alderweireld was speaking to newspaper Nieuwsblad after the weekend’s Euro 2016 qualifier.
Hazard left Chelsea to sign with Real Madrid last week.
Alderweireld said: “We will miss Eden Hazard in the Premier League.
“Real Madrid will be a great challenge for him.”

Alderweireld and his fellow Belgians may well miss Hazard socially, but on the pitch, Tottenham should not be shedding any tears for his departure from Chelsea.
The sale has made one of Tottenham’s rivals weaker, and fans will still remember with pain his goal scored in 2016 which ended their title challenge in the ‘Battle of the Bridge’.
Tottenham could still end up facing Hazard in the Champions League next season, but for now, he is long gone.
Alderweireld will have to make do with seeing him on international duty.
