Tottenham forward Son’s achievements pale compare to Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

Heung-Min Son scored a brace at the weekend as Tottenham Hotspur shook off an injury to Harry Kane and put four goals past Bournemouth.

Son has been one of Tottenham’s best players over the past few months, and his performances are finally getting the credit they deserve.

The South Korean is one of the Premier League’s most in form players, and is in his third season in the top flight.

But his efforts are put in perspective by Mohamed Salah’s incredible season for Liverpool.

Salah’s quality is highlighted by once simple fact… he has almost scored as many goals in the Premier League this year alone than Son has in three seasons.

Salah is on course to win the Golden Boot in his first season, an incredible feat.

This is despite like Son, he is not an orthodox striker, but a winger capable of cutting inside and posing a direct threat to defences.

Son could have a major role to play with Harry Kane out injured, and further goals will see his stock rise.

Salah’s record keeps Son’s feats in perspective, and the South Korean has a long way to go to duplicate the Liverpool forward’s unerring consistency in front of goal.
