Tottenham Hotspur continue to impress, and racked up their ninth consecutive win at the weekend.

Spurs star Dele Alli spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s hugely important win over Arsenal on Sunday, and opened up on the gilt edged chance that he missed during the game in the first-half, as quoted by the club’s official website.
Tottenham closed the gap between themselves and league leaders Chelsea back to four points after their victory over the Gunners, and still have an outside chance of overhauling Antonio Conte’s side at the top of the table.
Mauricio Pochettino has guided his side to an incredibly successful Premier League campaign thus far, and the performances of Alli have been a major contributing factor behind their impressive season.
The 21-year-old has scored 17 goals in 33 league outings for the Lilywhites, and has truly established himself as one of the world’s best attacking midfield players.
He didn’t have things all his own way on Sunday, however, after missing a great chance to put his side ahead inside the first-half.

And the former MK Dons star shared how he expects to be teased by his teammates about his shocking miss, as quoted by TottenhamHotspur.com:
“Yes, finally! I’m going to get a bit of stick from the lads after that header, I don’t know how I missed to be honest. I was happy to make up for it and more importantly to win the game.”
He was then asked if the glaring miss played on his mind throughout the rest of the game:
“For a few minutes, yes. I was a bit gobsmacked to be honest. Like I said, I was more than happy to make up for it with the goal and the team win.”
After everything that Alli has given Tottenham since he moved to the club two years ago, he will be forgiven for the odd miss here and there, however.
