Tottenham Hotspur’s Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has made just five substitute appearances in the Premier League since his summer switch.
During an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, Spurs winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou described his excitement at the potential of playing football over the Christmas period for the first time in his career.
The France under-21 international made the move to White Hart Lane on transfer deadline day, after protracted negotiations between officials from his previous club Marseille and current team Tottenham.

He has failed to make the initial impact that was expected of him, however, and is still yet to make a start in the Premier League for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
The 21-year-old will be hoping for more game-time in the second half of the season though, and he told TottenhamHotspur.com how excited he is at the prospect of a full fixture list during the festive period:
“This is the first year that I have football matches to prepare for because in France you have a holiday at this time of year. For me, I am really excited about this because I love football and I hope we will get some good results over Christmas.”

With the hectic schedule ahead for Spurs over this next month or so, now may very well be the ideal time for Mauricio Pochettino to introduce the young winger into the first-team on a more regular basis.
His talent is beyond question, but there must come a time when he gets the opportunity to showcase what he has to offer.
