Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli has his say on teammate Danny Rose.
During an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, Spurs star Dele Alli sung the praises of teammate Danny Rose, and suggested that there are no better left-backs in the Premier League than the Tottenham man.
The 26-year-old full-back has fully established himself as first-choice for both club and country over the past two years, with his marauding displays down the left flank proving to be pivotal to his sides’ chances of success.
Tottenham’s Danny Rose in action
He scored the winner for Spurs against Burnley on Sunday, that helped his side rack up their third win from their last four league games, and Alli spoke of his importance to team, during an interview with TottenhamHotspur.com:
“It was a great goal from Danny for the second. He’s a fantastic full-back – I don’t think there are many better in the Premier League. He deserves everything he gets.”
Tottenham’s Danny Rose celebrates
Mauricio Pochettino’s men now face a crucial three game spell which starts with successive away trips to Southampton and Watford and culminates with their home game against Chelsea on January 4th.
They currently sit fifth in the table, 10 points adrift of Antonio Conte’s league leaders.
And a return of nine points from those games will most certainly see Spurs reassert their credentials as genuine title contenders.
