Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko came off the bench on Monday evening as the side beat Watford 2-0.

The France international was pleased to play his part in the victory but he could have made it more comprehensive.

Sissoko was put through on goal late on by an excellent pass from striker Harry Kane, only to blaze over.

He has not scored in 2018 and on this evidence it was easy to see why.

Sissoko posted on Twitter yesterday after the win… and including a picture of himself missing the sitter.

Sissoko’s post caused a mixture of amusement and annoyance among supporters.

Responses in part mocked Sissoko’s attempt while others blasted the former Newcastle midfielder, perceiving him not to care or be embarrassed about such a poor miss.
