Tottenham Hotspur’s midfield is one of the strongest around.

According to Belgian newspaper HLN, Tottenham are considering selling Mousa Dembele to Chinese club Beijing Guoan this month, and whilst many of the club’s fans might be disappointed to see the 31-year-old leave, it could prove to be a great opportunity for Oliver Skipp.
The Belgium international joined Spurs from Fulham in the summer of 2012, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £15 million, and he has gone on to establish himself as somewhat of a club legend.
Dembele’s contract is due to expire in the summer, however, and it was thought that he would leave Tottenham on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Should the midfielder leave earlier than that, however, up and coming Spurs starlet Oliver Skipp could be presented with the opportunity of more regular first-team action.

Skipp, 18, has really impressed for Tottenham when he has played this season, but with the multitude of world-class midfield options available to Mauricio Pochettino, it will be hard for him to nail down a regular starting spot.
Dembele leaving, though, will obviously free up a spot, and the Spurs teenager must make the most of that chance.
Skipp is a wonderful talent, and Dembele’s potential exit from he club this month might turn out to be the making of the teenage starlet.
