Son told Tottenham’s website that not only is Dembele popular among his teammates, he is a player who he loves to watch.
He said: “Mousa is a really, really good player.
“Sometimes I just enjoy watching him play football because he’s such a great player and I’m really happy for him to score his first goal of the season.
“Everyone is happy because he scored his first one.”
Son was also on the scoresheet against Bournemouth and the form of both players is helping propel Tottenham towards the top of the league.
Leaders Chelsea faltered away to Manchester United at the weekend, and their next game is a FA Cup semi-final against Spurs.
For both teams the prospect of a dramatic league and cup double remains possible, beyond their wildest expectations at the start of the campaign.
Tottenham have the momentum, and a win in the cup will help their league chances by sowing further doubt into the minds of Chelsea players.
