Mauricio Pochettino comments on whether Harry Kane will take corners for Tottenham.
England’s Harry Kane looks dejected
One of the lasting memories of England’s woeful Euro 2016 campaign will be Harry Kane’s set pieces.
The Spurs striker could not be faulted for effort, but the end product simply wasn’t there, and his goalscoring talent was being wasted.

Kane did not take set pieces for Tottenham beforehand, and head coach Mauricio Pochettino does not plan on following Roy Hodgson’s lead.
He told The Sun: “No. No. No. I don’t want to criticise but Harry is a top scorer – so why would you make him take the free kicks or corner if the skill of Harry is to score?
“You need to stay in the box, not outside. This is my idea.”

This will be music to Harry Kane’s ears, as the striker will be able to get back to doing what he does best.
Kane finished the last two seasons as the club’s top scorer, and won the Premier League Golden Boot last season.
This time around he has the help of new signing Vincent Janssen, but the Dutchman should not expect Kane to be supplying him from dead ball situations.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane wins the 2015/16 Barclays Golden Boot Award, scoring 25 goals.
