Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane was named in the PFA Team of the Year.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane took to social networking site Twitter in order to show his appreciation at being named in the Professional Footballers’ Association Premier League Team of the Year.
The Spurs ace has been nothing short of miraculous this season as his progression at White Hart Lane has taken everybody by surprise.
For a player who struggled to impress during a loan spell at Leicester City in the Championship, Kane has taken the Premier League by storm and much credit has to go to Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The 21-year-old has netted 20 league goals in 24 starts for the Lilywhites this season, including two doubles in the home victories over rivals Arsenal and Chelsea.
His goal-scoring exploits have rightfully led to international recognition with the England national team, where his dream campaign continued with a goal 80 seconds into his debut with a fine header.
Kane’s appearance in the PFA Team of the Year comes as little surprise, but nonetheless he wanted to show his appreciation, taking to Twitter in order to thank those that voted for him.
The PFA Team of the Year this season, voted by top-flight players, is heavily dominated by Premier League leaders Chelsea who have as many as six inclusions.
