Tottenham’s Harry Kane celebrates scoring
After a prolific end to the season, Harry Kane was left stunned when he failed to make the EA Sports Team of the Week.
Kane netted seven goals in his final two matches of the season, but it somehow wasn’t quite enough to warrant inclusion.
Selected up front instead was Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, along with Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette.
Kane’s Tottenham teammate Heung-Min Son was included, ensuring the team’s 13 goal blitz in their last two games was not entirely unnoticed by EA.

EA Sports reached out to Kane after he questioned their decision, making amends by updating his player stat card for FIFA 17, praising his haul of 29 goals in 30 Premier League games.
This was enough to put a smile back on Kane’s face, who replied to let EA know he was happy with this.
The scary part of Kane’s season is that he may not have finished scoring yet.
He should feature in a friendly against SC Kitchee on Thursday evening in Hong Kong, before getting stuck in for England in June’s World Cup qualifiers.
