Tottenham star Erik Lamela says he considers Mauricio Pochettino’s future out of bounds.

Erik Lamela is in a unique position at Tottenham Hotspur as the only Argentine in the squad and the only player to share nationality with manager Mauricio Pochettino,
This also means he gets quizzed about the manager when he returns to Argentina and this week was no different when he was interviewed.
Argentine newspaper Ole asked Lamela about Pochettino, who deflected questions about what his manager may do beyond Tottenham.
Pochettino is one of the managers who fans in his homeland dream of managing the national team, even though it is unlikely at present.
Lamela said: “He is a great coach, but with him I only talk about Tottenham, I do not know what he will do in his future.
“Whether he runs the Argentina National Team or not, it’s something only he knows, in England, the intensity of the game and the high pressure is a lot of work.”

Pochettino has been linked with other jobs, specifically Real Madrid, but Tottenham were smart to sign him up to a new contract earlier this year.
The manager has earned plaudits from the way he has transitioned Tottenham into one of Europe’s most feared teams and his track record for developing and improving players has also been key to his success.
Spurs are still waiting to for Lamela to really kick on, with injuries interrupting the impressive progress he appeared to be making.
