The Tottenham Hotspur boss has showcased his superb managerial ability over the past couple of seasons.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane
Spurs striker Harry Kane sat down for an exclusive interview with the Independent, and lavished praised upon Mauricio Pochettino, labelling the Argentine as one of the best managers in the world.
The 45-year-old has worked wonders in the three years he has been in charge of Tottenham, turning the Lilywhites into a team that are now considered to be genuine title contenders.
His next challenge will of course be to find a way of improving his side’s performances in Europe, but that will more than likely come as his young squad of players gain experience.
And Kane highlighted just how important Pochettino has been to Spurs’ recent rise to one of England’s best teams, when speaking exclusively to the Independent:
“We have got a fantastic manager who is one of the best in the world in my opinion. We have got a great squad, a real togetherness and we are just going in the right direction. We have just got to make sure we continue that.”
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
Kane has flourished since the Argentine’s appointment as Tottenham manager, scoring 85 goals in 135 appearances during that period.
Pochettino has to take great credit for how he initially had faith in the 23-year-old, and provided the platform from which he has gone on to achieve great things.
And keeping hold of the pair will be of paramount importance to their hopes of winning major honours over the course of the next five years or so.
