The Tottenham star has been a revelation since bursting onto the scene, but admitted he needs to get better at one thing.
England’s Dele Alli
Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli has insisted that it is important that he maintains the aggression within his game, but conceded that he needs to get better at controlling it, the Daily Mirror reports.
The midfielder has enjoyed a meteoric rise since making his debut for Spurs last season, and is now surely considered to be a player that Mauricio Pochettino needs to find an amazing excuse to justify leaving out.

Part of the reason that he has been so influential is his ability to mix his quality on the ball with his fighting spirit for both Tottenham and England.
But while he more often than not avoids crossing the line, there have been occasions when his temper has landed him in trouble, perhaps most notably against West Bromwich Albion last season when he clashed with Claudio Yacob.

And Alli has spoken about how he needs to get that balance right in future, but insisted that it is a part of his game that he is not looking to change drastically.
“Aggression is something that is a part of me and I’m never going to take that out of my game.” he said, as reported by the Mirror.
“Obviously I need to control it more. But I had to make the mistakes I did last season to learn from them.

“It was my first season in the Premier League and it’s a lot different to League One. I made the mistakes and I learned from them.
“I’ll continue to tackle back. I want to help the team as much as I can and if I need to get back and help them defend then I will.”
The aggression in the 20-year-old’s game helps make him such a versatile player, and thus, ensures that he is vitally important to Pochettino’s squad as he can be deployed anywhere within the Tottenham midfield.
And given the contribution he makes on a regular basis, it would surely be a mistake to look to change that aspect of his game.
