The Tottenham Hotspur defender proved his quality against Chelsea last night.

Danny Rose was in excellent form for Tottenham against Chelsea yesterday, and the left-back responded sarcastically to his teammate Harry Kane when he was handed the man of the match award, when speaking to Sky Sports reporters last night at 21:53.

Spurs have been quite simply superb this season, and they still have a realistic chance of winning all four competitions that they entered at the start of their campaign.

Despite failing to sign a single player during the summer transfer window, Tottenham seem to have actually improved this season, and Mauricio Pochettino deserves great credit for that.

Rose himself hasn’t actually featured regularly for the north London outfit this season, making just nine Premier League starts, but he was at his brilliant best against the Blues last night, picking up the man of the match award.

The 28-year-old spoke to Sky Sports reporters last night, and joked when he received his MOTM award:

“Daylight robbery!”

The England international has now surely done enough to be given more starts for Tottenham, and a fully fit an firing Rose can only be a good thing for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
