Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s disappointing 2-2 draw with PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League last night, and shared what angered him about their display, as quoted by the club’s official website.

Spurs now face an uphill battle, if they are to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition, and will most likely have to win all of their three remaining games, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of doing just that.

The north London outfit dominated the game for large spells last night, up until Hugo Lloris was sent of with 10 minutes still to play.

PSV went on to equalise, and Tottenham were left ruing their profligacy earlier on in the game.

Eriksen spoke to reporters after the game and explained why he was so angry with the end result, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“We should have finished the game off. We didn’t do that and PSV had the chance to come back. I gave a bad pass, Hugo had a sending off – I don’t think he was the last man – but, again, if we finish the game off we don’t have that at the end. We could have done better.”

Next up for Tottenham is a home game against Manchester City on Monday night, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side will have to be much better in front of goal, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating the Premier League champions.
